We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff was excellent and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The location was perfect, just a short 5-7 minute walk to 5th Avenue and close to everything we needed. The hotel facilities were great, including the quiet AC, clean rooms, and basic amenities. The breakfast buffet was a decent value with a variety of options to choose from. The hotel had convenient private parking and transportation was easy with no traffic congestion in the area. There were excellent and affordable local restaurants nearby, such as Nativo and El Fadon, providing delicious Mexican food.

The hotel was conveniently located on a main street, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. Additionally, there were three major supermarkets within walking distance, which was very convenient. On the 2nd floor, the rooms were equipped with air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable stay even in the warm climate. Furthermore, the staff was friendly and provided good service, making the experience enjoyable.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel right in the heart of Playa del Carmen. The location was perfect, with a variety of excellent and affordable local restaurants just steps away. We especially loved the infamous Fogon restaurant that was just around the block. The room was comfortable and spacious, and the bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The service provided by the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a wide array of delicious food options to choose from. We also enjoyed the towel art created by the cleaners.

That the shower took a while to get hot.

Our stay at Hotel Plaza Playa was a pleasant one. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive, and its convenient location made it easy for us to explore the area. We were grateful for the laundrette in the same building, as it saved us from doing multiple cycles of laundry when we returned home. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we appreciated the nearby restaurants and supermarket. The ADO bus station being within walking distance was a bonus, especially when we had big suitcases. I would recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The shower took quite some time to warm up, and the water never really got hot. the Wi-Fi was only available in the common areas, not in the rooms.

Cozy room, new installations. Good price-value ratio. Great location near Quinta Aventida and the beach. Plenty of restaurants nearby and 2 mega markets close by. Friendly and helpful staff. Free room upgrade.
